50th anniversary all-star tribute to THE FLYING BURRITO BROTHERS celebrating Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, The Byrds and the origins of Country Rock.

The Flying Burrito Brothers were formed in 1969 by Gram Parsons & Chris Hillman after leaving The Byrds whose “Sweetheart of the Rodeo” album in 1968 was the template for Country-Rock music. Their debut album “The Gilded Palace of Sin” is a total classic and was followed in 1970 by “Burrito Deluxe” before Gram Parsons left to start his solo career.

The band continued through the 1970s and were led by multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and vocalist Greg Harris from 1979 through until the mid-nineties. Greg fronts tonights special event along with sought after guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, Jeff Pevar, who has worked with David Crosby, Phil Lesh, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles and Jefferson Starship.

Richard Newman, drummer with Rory Gallagher, Alvin Lee, Jeff Beck plus Tony Morley, bassist with Jefferson Starship and Live Dead ’69 complete the line up.
