The band have frequently worked with other musicians, both in recording and in live performances. Notable collaborators and guest musicians include Nolan Porter, Dr. Robert from the Blow Monkeys, Graham Parker, Bettye LaVette, William Bell, and former Style Council members Steve White, Mick Talbot and Paul Weller who in addition to producing their last album has guest-performed on stage with the band on several occasions
