Rochester castle concerts

Rochester Castle Concerts invites The Libertines, UB40 and Soul II Soul for three nights of magnificent music inside the castle grounds in September 2021.

The beautiful 12th century Rochester Castle will form the stunning backdrop as these musical icons perform for hundreds of music lovers on the banks of the River Medway in the scenic Kent town.

The series will open on 16th September as one of indie’s finest The Libertines bring hits such as ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’, ‘Time For Heroes’ and ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’ to Rochester Castle.

The next day will see Soul II Soul take to the castle grounds, bringing their instantly recognisable soul sound and no doubt getting the crowd grooving.

Closing out the series on 18th September will be UB40. Since forming in 1978, the band have sold over 100 million records worldwide, racked up 40 UK top 40 hits – including three number ones – and produced what is regarded as one of the greatest reggae albums of all time in Signing Off.
